Biography
Greg majored in Biological Sciences at UCSB. During his time there he spent four years as a Research Diver for the Santa Barbara Coastal Long Term Ecological Research Project under Dr. Dan Reed and two summers in UCSF's Retinoblastoma Lab under Dr. Joan O'Brien. He joined the Jablons Lab in 2012 and is currently applying to medical schools.
Greg is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the Thoracic Tissue Bank and database. He provides clinical data to fellow researches, and is working with Il-Jin to discover cancer marker proteins in blood. He is also working with postdoctoral research fellow, Trevor Graham, to study the progression of Barrett's esophagus in to esophageal cancer and plans to study the evolution of cancer within tumors.
